Jack Wonneman - 2003-06-21

During the school year of 1963—1964 I attended Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri. Those of you who really knew me and my enthusiasm for academic endeavor will understand why I did not pursue further higher education the next year.

I worked for Missouri Concrete Company in Columbia until joining the Columbia Police Department as a patrol officer in September 1966. I was promoted to Sergeant in 1973, Lieutenant in 1978, Captain in 1983 and retired in 1986.

In 1986, my wife Roma and I moved to Wakulla County Florida where I worked for the Florida Department of Health and Human Resources in Tallahassee and Wakulla Counties as a Child Support Enforcement Officer for about a year.

We returned to Columbia (HOME) in 1988 and I began working for the Boone County Sheriffs Department, A year later I took the position I currently hold with the Boone county Circuit Court, Circuit Court Marshal.

We have two sons, the oldest manages a local auto body repair shop and the youngest is a chef living in Ukiah, California.
