Larry Bedford - 2003-08-04

After graduation, I served 4-years in the Air Force touring Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma and S.E. Asia.  Returning home, I married the love of my life Sharon (King) in 1972.  We moved to Springfield, MO to attend Southwest MO State University.  Sharon (HHS class of ’68) and I have one son Marc.

Upon graduation I worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager for Zenith color television.  As Zenith was being sold and the manufacturing operations were being moved, I joined Shelter Insurance and operated a personal lines agency for 8-years.

13-years ago, after greatly missing the electrical/electronics industry, I joined the Foley Group as a S.W. Regional Manager for our Company.  We represent 40 manufacturers to the electrical wholesale trade, providing lighting for shopping centers, schools and universities, offices, and of course, Branson’s many attractions.

My early training at Hickman with Helen Williams’ and Kent Toalson’s stage productions has provided a lighting and musical base that continues to be a large part of my life even today!
