After serving in the Navy, I came back to Columbia, and I started work at the University Missouri.
I have worked for the University for 35 years. I worked at the Data Processing Center, the Electrical Engineering Computer Center, the Math Science Computer Center and Telecommunication Data Center. I attend the University for a couple of semesters. I was eligible for early retirement, but because I still have 2 teenager girls living at home I did not take it.
I enjoy traveling and have traveled to Europe twice when my brother was stationed in Germany. I went many times to Colorado for skiing, both with friends and with the Columbia Ski Club. I have also traveled to many other places around the good old USA, and also to the Bahamas. I got married late it life, at age 40, but we are now separated. I got involved with TaeKwonDo after age 50, and competed in the Showme State Games. I earned a 1st degree Black Belt.
