Blackmore, a CMHS
member, now has a dalylily named after her by Jan Joiner of Joiner Daylily
Gardens of Pembroke, GA. Jan was the guest speaker who presented the feature
program on June 25, 2011 at the AHS Region 11 Summer Meeting in Columbia, MO.
Karen purchased Jan's new daylily June 25th at the meeting, which was a seedling
at the time. It has now been named, "Simply Karen." Below is an image of the
ad which will appear in the next Daylily Journal. "Simply Karen"
is the daylily pictured on the left.
