 Alan & Diane were here January 16th and left the next morning for St. Louis on business.
Alan will be retired from State Farm, effective January 31, 2003.
Hopefully we will see them more as Alan joins me in a "Work Free Enviroment."

Pam & her husband Jim Biddle were in Columbia June 27, 2003.  Jim had business at the University and
I ran over to see Pam at the University of Missouri Alumni Center, where this picture was taken by Jim.
Couldn't get them to stay over so I went back home and finished mowing the yard.

Ruth Weaver Arbuckle (on the right) was in from Maryland visiting family over the 4th of July and stopped by
for a visit July 3, 2003.  I called Ruth's classmates; Barthena Allen Barnes, Mildred Crawford Hourigan,
Elizabeth Douglas Windmiller, and Helen Moore Wiggins and invited them over to see Ruth and join us for lunch.
Barthena (on the left) was the only one who was able to join us.  Barthena, Mildred, Elizabeth and Helen are still
living in the Columbia area.  All of these ladies are Kewpies from "The Class of 1932."  Ruth returned to
Hickman in 1936, immediately after gettinng her degree from the University of Missouri as a music teacher.
Mrs. Helen D. Williams was her teacher in the early 30's and Ruth and Helen taught together through 1941.
Ruth and Helen jointly produced the plays and assemblies at Hickman during that time.

Betty Gayle, who is in the hospital recovering from a stroke is my dear friend of the Class of 1963.
Her dad was a 1937 Kewpie, the deceased Glenn T. Smith.  Deidre Jenkins, is a 1999 Kewpie, now living in Oregon.

Nancy's mother was P.T.A. President at Hickman High School, during my Senior year.
She came to bat for me against James R. Chevalier at the "Fairy Tale" incident!

Lila Gafke, 1963 Kewpie Classmate stopped by November 4, 2006 while visiting family in Columbia.

July 12, 2007, Carol Jones, Class of 1962 and her dad stopped by for a visit and to check out Karen's flower gardens
and day lilies, while they were seeing Carol's mom at "The Bluffs" which is in our subdivision.

August 15, 2007, Laurie Haskins, Class of 1977 stopped for a visit and to show me pictures from their 30th Reunion of the Hickman & Rock Bridge Class of 1977, on August 4, 2007.

She and her new stepmother, (Edie) Hulett, Class of 1941 stopped by for a short visit on August 17, 2007.
Congratulations! Edie and Ed Gibbs (Class of 1943) were wed on June 20, 2006, and both had lost their former spouses.

Sandy Smith & Carolyn Kemper (Class of 1963) stopped by the morning of May 23, 2008 to check out Karen's irises!

Jim Woodruff (Class of 1963) had to be in Kansas City for a friend's funeral
and drove to Columbia for a visit on June 24, 2008.

Chellie Corcoran and Jane Cunningham (Class of 1963) were in Columbia visiting parents
and stopped by for coffee on July 21, 2008. Jane shareed her scrapebook her mother put together
of most of her school history from elementary school through college.
