Sheila Kay Pounds, 57, of Piggott died Thursday, September 18, 2003, in the Three Rivers Health Care North in Poplar Bluff.

She was born August 15, 1946, in Poplar Bluff, the daughter of R. C. and Fayeon Hill Pounds.

She was preceded in death by her father R. C. Pounds in 1991; and a nephew, Ryan Pounds in 1993.

She is survived by her three children, Robbie Featherston of Piggott, Kendra Featherston of Jonesboro and Chad Featherston of Piggott; her mother, Fayeon Pounds of Pollard; one grandson, Ryan Drake Featherston; one sister, Tami Shaw of Pollard; one brother, Rick Pounds of Pollard; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Gary Hancock officiating.  Burial followed in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.  Pallbearers were Dewayne Holifield, Roy Kaushick, Scott Hartwell, Mick Barker, Barry Branscum and Dave Dearing.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
