From Stephanie
Hickman High school has meant a great deal to me. Hickman has provided the foundation for my educational future. I have met a lot of friends at Hickman, and I look forward to our 10 year reunion so I can meet up with them and learn what they have done and what they have become. My educational future includes teaching in a secondary position. My desire to teach history stems from some wonderful teachers who brought history alive for me. I would also like to become a basketball coach.
A large portion of my time in high school was spent in a gym playing basketball with the Lady Kewpies. We placed second in state, but I doubt I’ll remember that as much as I will remember the friends I made and the qualities that were instilled in me while playing basketball. Qualities like: teamwork, leadership, commitment, dedication, and a solid and strong work ethic. Playing on the Hickman basketball team taught me to look for a person’s strengths and build on them. Everyone has something to contribute to the success of a team.
Hickman has been instrumental in
providing an experience that will positively impact me now and in the future.
Hickman High School will always be a part of this (soon to be alumni) Kewpie.
