Jimmie Jones - 1963 Bio & Picture from 40th Reunion (September 21, 1945 - May 6, 2009)                                 Jim @ Kewpieland (my house) - September 21, 2003 A Note From Jimmie to: The Class of 1963 Another Reunion has come and gone, and I was sorry to see it end.  Living here in Columbia, and doing residential, and some commercial construction, there is not a day goes by that I am not in a part of the city, one or another of you grew up in, and lived while attending school.  To all the girls whose smiles and warmth, through the years I say thanks, to all the guys whose backyards were ball fields and the rose bushes were out of bounds I say thanks.  Once again, the days went by too fast and thanks for all the memories.  In closing, my wish is for all who could not attend and to each who could, to be together again, to walk the halls from grade school to our senior year once again. My best wishes and love to all, for I believe our class was and will always be the best! Sincerely, Jimmie Lee Jones                         Published Tuesday, June 9, 2009 Jimmie Lee Jones, 63, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, after a second battle with cancer. Jimmie was born Sept. 21, 1945, to J.T. and Katherine Garrett Jones. He graduated from Hickman High School in 1963. After graduation, he worked in credit and finance. He then worked in the construction and concrete business, where he spent the majority of his working career. Jimmie took great pride in the quality of work he did. He also enjoyed being a member of the Eagles Lodge. Jimmie had three children: Shawn Lee Jones, Monica Lynn Myers and Justin Kyle Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary. He is survived by his children; four grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Madelynn and Kylee; his siblings, Wayne, Karen Kessler and Larry; and his sister-in-law, Rhonda Jones.
