Sherry Trower - 1963 (Alton High School, Alton, Illinois) Bio & Picture from 40th Reunion                           John McCarthy & Sherry Trower McCarthy - 1997 Read BIO BIO: Sherry Trower McCarthy 2003-08-06 My mother and I left Columbia after 9th grade.  While I realize that I never attended Hickman, sometimes I wonder what happened to alot of people I once knew.  I went to five different high schools ending up in Alton, Illinois, where I met my first husband. I came back to Columbia in 1964 and worked for Dr. Ercell Miller for 5 years.  After that we lived in St. Louis area for l7 years.  My mother passed away 7 years ago. I retired from dentistry when I married John McCarthy and moved to Quincy, Illinois.  I am now a housewife and love everything here. I have a daughter, Sherry Anne Swegle, she will be 38 August 11, 2003.  She lives here in Quincy and is the manager of a Ruby Tuesday.  My husband has a wholesale plumbing business.  I have 2 stepdaughters who work in the family business, which has been in the family 24 years.  I also have a step granddaughter who is 20 and a step grandson who is 18.  We live in the middle of 25 acres just 3 miles from town.  Really, I guess I live a pretty lazy life and I love it.
