Please join us at Hickman High School in Columbia Missouri for a
Hickman Varsity Football game on Oct 13, 2023. This year's “Legacy” HOF
Inductees will be honored and recognized on the field at halftime of the
game. Before the game, inductees are invited to gather in the Hickman
Commons at 4:45pm for a brief building tour. Then, there will be a
ceremony in the commons at 6pm to honor the inductees. The FB game
will start at 7pm and the inductees will be recognized at half field at
halftime. Inductees should meet at the west end of the turf field with 7
minutes left in the second quarter.

I am attaching
a biography sheet for you to complete. The information you provide will
help me prepare the program for Oct 13th . I need it returned by Sep
13th

Send a list of
your family/friends who may want to attend the event. I would like
to provide a list of names to the gate workers so that your guests may
be admitted free of charge. I also will provide a reserved section of
seats for you and your guests. I need it returned by Sep 13th.

Other things you may want to know:

There is no
“dress code” for the evening.
·
On Oct 13th,
plan to arrive at Hickman and enter the west commons by 4:45pm
·
There will be
opportunities for you to speak (if you so desire) during the Ceremony in
the commons after the game.

DAY OF THE EVENT!

HOF inductees meet at the
West door/Commons at 4:45pm
·
Building tour from 5-6pm
·
The induction ceremony
will be in the commons at 6pm. Hickman AD and/or the HOF Chairperson
will welcome everyone. Legacy HOF representatives present certificates
and there will be opportunities for inductees to speak if they want.
·
Light
refreshments will be provided.
·
Inductees will watch the
game in their designated/reserved seats- West side of home bleachers.
·
Inductees gather at the
west side of the turf with 7 minutes left in the 2nd quarter
·
Inductees are led onto
the field at halftime by current students who play that sport.
players. They are organized by state championship teams in chronological
order.
·
The announcer will read
the induction script for each team to be honored and recognized in front
of the crowd.
