After graduation in 1996, I joined the United States Air Force. I graduated Basic Training in January 1997, and went on to Keesler AFB, Biloxi, MS to become a Communication/Navigation Systems Specialist. While in technical school, I married my girlfriend from Hickman, Robin Lee. Upon completion of technical school at Keesler AFB, I got stationed at Yokota Air Base, Japan.
Yokota Air Base is located in Fussa, Japan, which is a suburb of Tokyo. While there I repaired the Communication and Navigation systems of the C-130E aircraft that were there. My oldest daughter was born here and my son was born on the island of Okinawa. We were stationed at Yokota for three and a half years.
Since December
2000, we have been at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS. While here, we
had our third child. I repaired the Communication and Navigation
systems on the KC-135R here, and now I teach the systems to new Airmen
arriving from technical school. In July 2004 I finally began College.
I enrolled online through Grantham University, based out of Slidell, LA.
I'm going for a degree in Information Science.

I actually moved away
summer of 1995 to Salt Lake City Utah. I have since moved back to
Columbia, my home. I brought back my husband, Charles. We just celebrated
our 6th anniversary in August of 2007. We have a daughter, Caitlin and
twin sons, Colton and Cayden. We bought our first home in July of
2006. My hubby is a truck driver and I am a stay at home mom of our 3 beautiful
children. I will always be a Kewpie at heart even though I did not
graduate from Hickman. Go Kewps!!!

Hello Kewpie's!
Maria here. When
I graduated from Hickman High School I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia
for 5 years and graduated with a BSN in Nursing. I have been living
in San Diego for almost 5 years now. My first 4.5 years I was active
duty in the United States Navy. I served as a Nurse Corps Officer
and worked in various units including oncology and intensive care.
My only deployment was a humanitarian mission to Bande Aceh, Indonesia
post-tsunami jan - mar 05. I trained 50 non-governmental organization
nurses ship life and how to run their respective wards. I was the
medevac nurse who flew with ill patients and their families to and from
the USNS Mercy and various hospitals on ground in Indonesia. I worked
with the Germans, Spanish, Austrailians, New Zealand and the Indonesian
armies. I have never worked harder in my life! These days I
work @ the Naval Hospital as a civilian in the adult critical care unit.
But I am looking for a day job as a nurse in something a little more mellow
atomosphere. My fiancee and I own a condo 1 mile away from the beach
here in san diego. We love the surf, fish tacos, mexican food, weather
and how there is always something to do here. Weather is great for
running races and all water sports. Ryan, my fiancee, and I are getting
married in a year and a family a year later. I do not know where
we will end up but we are happy with our lives here for the time being.

After graduation from
Hickman in 1996, I didn't travel far for college and attended Mizzou. I
was a non-traditional student, working full time my entire college career
thus it took me a little longer to graduate than usual. I funded a lot
of my college education through pageants and look back on the opportunities
I had has a title holder as extremely rewarding. During college, I was
hired as the morning show co-host on the #1 rated radio station in central
Missouri: KCLR, Clear 99. I've been there now nearly six years and love
it! Sure, I'm up early in the morning, but I'm done earlier in the day
and have a lot of time to spend with my family: husband, Aric, and children
Alexis and Carter.
I've stayed in touch
with a lot of my fellow Kewpies, at least the ones I was very close to,
and still see them and their new families quite often. Looking forward
to our 10th reunion, though I can't believe it's already been ten years!

I am a stay at home mom
with two beautiful girls, Kelsie Taylor, who is 11, and Sunnie Mae, who
is almost 3. I also now have a bouncing boy, Rockie, who is almost 9 months
old. My husband works in manufacturing and we just moved into a brand new
home this last July. We aren't having any more children; God has blessed
our family enough!! We are members of First Baptist Church here in Claremore,
OK. We will be celebrating 3 wonderful years of marriage January 28. Hope
to see all of you at our Reunion!

In May 2002, I graduated
from Truman State University in Kirksville with my Master of Arts in Elementary
Education. I started teaching second grade in Ashland the following fall.
In June of 2003, I married my boyfriend of 6 years, Doug Quinn. We built
a house in Ashland that year as well. Our son, Colton was born in March
of 2004.

Kelin: I am currently working on my Masters in Elementary Education at
Truman State Univeristy. I am a year behind because I was diagnoised
with cancer last year. During the summer of 2002 I will be traveling
throughout America. My main stops will be Washington DC, Baltimore,
Denver, Cleveland, Orlando, northern Michigan, southern Missouri, and southern
Minnesota.

to Moberly for college. I decided to take some time out of school after
my first year at MACC. I now work at the Orscheln Farm and Home Retail
Support Center. I have been there for a little over two years. I got married
two years ago. My wife is still in college, and we plan to move back to
Columbia this year.

I am a licensed CPA living in Nome, Alaska. I work for Johnson, CPA accounting firm based out of Anchorage. I moved to Alaska in 2001 and worked as a loan officer and manager for Wells Fargo Bank for two years. In 2000 and 2001 I worked as the personal assistant to Governor Bob Holden back in Missouri. I lived with the first family in the living quarters of the state mansion and traveled with them all over the country. As of now I am going to school again at the University of Alaska and spend my free time engaging in winter sports.
