These two Kewpies became friends at Grant Elementary in the mid 50's and were part of what we
"West Siders" from West Boulevard Elementary, called the "Parkway Gang"
as we challenged each other to a regular football game at the Muellers' or in the Parkway.

Judy Reynolds, Class of 1963
in Memory of her dad, Loren Reynolds, Class of 1928 (the 1st class to graduated from Hickman High School)
and a man I knew to most certainly be one of the "Greastest" of all Kewpies.
Loren was honestly planning for the next reunion as soon as the current one was finished.

Rob passed away November 15, 2008 at his home in Jupiter, Florida.
Dan did get a chance to go see Rob in Florida right before our 45th reunion in October of 2008.
 
 

Jane Cunningham, Class of 1963
in Memory of her dad,  Joe Cunningham. Joe was a 1934 graduate of Hickman High School.
He married Leeta Dell Lane in 1935, a 1935 Kewpie and they celebrated 66 years of marriage.
After high school Joe studied art, drafting and architectural design. He began a career as a draftsman
with A.B. Chance in Centralia. Later, he was a manager of LaCrosse Lumber Co. in Columbia.
He was a home builder for 45 years. In retirement he restored antiques, built fine cabinetry and raised red angus cattle.

 We went to Torrance, CA to take care of affairs for Darrell and  were joined by my son and other family for  a beautiful ceremony in LA where we lowered his ashes in the Pacific. We were aboard a brigantine that Darrell helped rig for the Los Angeles Maritime Museum. The  picture was take at that ship of  those who attended the ceremony
and a picture of the basket carrying Darrell's remains.

Two $500.00 scholarships were awarded in May of 2009 - 2023 and starting in 2024 we increased the amount awarded to two $1,000.00 scholarships!

 We gathered 419 Kewpies who we call the Class of '63. Only 102 have
made 185 donations to make the total amount donated $39,240.37.
