S Barre Barrett
Ann Cornett May 7, 2009 I was born October 15, 1936 in Pleasanton, Iowa to Charles C & Reva Hagan Cornett. Moved to Columbia when six weeks old. Left in second half of first grade, moved to Troy, Mo. Third grade moved to Marshall, MO, fourth & half of fifth moved to Springfield, MO & back to Columbia. Finished fifth at Grant school then sixth at Ridgeway. On to Jeff Jr, Hickman & MU. After marriage in 1956, lived in Albuquerque, NM, Marianna, FL, Laredo & Harlingen, TX, San Mateo, CA, Yokota Air Base, Japan, Clark Air Base, Philippines, Sumter, SC, Hampton, VA, Woodbridge, VA then home to Columbia. What a great experience for the family to visit & live in so many places. Marriage folded & finally ended in 1982. After being married to Neil,in May of '84, we moved to Broken Arrow, OK & lived there for almost ten years, then once again moved back to Mo. We lived a couple of years in Col. then in 2001 moved to Rocky Mount & lived on the water. We love the lake but, due to health issues, we are selling our lake home as I need to be able to get to a hospital without waiting an hour. Our life is great, I have a wonderful partner, great kids, grandkids & even greats. We seem to stay busy & looks like our long years of support, in attendance as well as financial, is beginning to pay off., Tigers' lookin' good! We have tailgating down to a science. If you are at a home game, stop by lot C & look us up. Don't forget to introduce yourself. I can't believe how quickly time flies, the older you get the faster it goes.
