There I was the singer for Mini Mizzou and a Sesquicentennial Singer. I left MU after 2 semesters and got married in 1989 to Michael Cox. We have two more sons - Aedryan who is 12, and J'den who is 7. By the way, Zachary will be a Kewpie this fall! Michael is a routesalesman for Pepsi Cola. I am a part time secretary with Columbia Schools at Benton Elementary. When I'm not working I spend a lot of time writing music. I am still singing a great deal. Am working on music for a long awaited CD. All three of my boys wrestle. Drae and J'den for Columbia Wrestling Club, and Zachary will be in his second year wresting for HHS. Ernie Becker August 13, 2008 I attended Moberly Area Junior College on a Scholarship. Partied very hard there. Was Class President for a term. Proof that those who throw big parties, win elections. Graduated with an AA, then needed to get out of there before I went into AA. Moved to Georgia and obtained a Theater Scholarship at Georgia Southern University and graduated with a BS in Theater and had an "emphasis" in PR. (short by 2 hours for a minor). Looked into a Masters of Fine Arts to become a Prof and came to the conclusion that I did not want to spend the rest of my life in school. So off I went.....Partied my butt off until I was 30...did ok with my life in that time period. turned 30, married, have awesome boys, divorced, and now I am a full time dad of said 3 boys. I have been in sales for the last 14 years. Lived in "Hotlanta" for 5 years and now moved to central Georgia where me and the boys live. I have not left "the arts" entirely. I am a professional magician and do that part time about 1-2 nights a week. Love my full time job in sales....love my company and co-worklers. I still find humor in every aspect of life.....I have not changed...still campy, crazy, hyper, and full of silliness. Life is too precious to waste on being serious. Reach out and give me a call sometime.....If there are any spelling errors.....get over it, I have. Go figure--I find this site AFTER the reunion...... Christine Hatley August 3, 2002 I graduated from Columbia College with degree in elementary education in 1993. I got married to a wonderful man named Blair in 1997. He owns Steamagic Carpet Care here in Columbia. I have been teaching 2nd-5th grade Special Education in New Franklin, Missouri, for the past 4 years. Before that I taught in Columbia for 2 years. I received my Masters Degree in Special Education from Columbia College last July. Blair and I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with our friends on our 15 acres. I never thought I would not live in town, but now I would not change it for anyting. Tammy Helwig July 11, 2005 After I left school, I had my son Brandon who is now attending State Fair Community College in Sedalia , Mo. I have three other children, Teressa who is now a senior at Hickamn, David who is a 10th grader at Hickman, and Forrest, who is in 7th grade at Lange Middle school. After having my kids I decided it was time for me to go back to school. I attended Columbia College for two years and decided I didn't like it. I started working for Columbia Schools and have been with them since 1997. I started out as a secretary, and after my divorce I needed something all year so I am now in the custodial department at Cedar Ridge Elementary. I love every minute of it. Tonya Howard April 2, 2002 After graduation, I went on to complete a degree in Marketing at the UMC, but I don't use it. During my college years, though, I met a great guy named Sam. We have been married for 11 years and have two wonderful boys -- ages 5 and 7. I worked for the University for 5 years, primarily in secretarial positions, but I ended up taking over responsibility for the department's computers. I figured if I was going to do computer support, I may as well find a position that paid for it so we moved to the Metro-Atlanta, GA area about five years ago where I do software technical support and testing for a risk management company. Whitney Kaiser Aug 1, 2001 After graduation I went to University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I got a degree in Biology. My husband, Jerry, and I then moved to Seattle, WA where we got Master's degrees in Genetics and Linguistics, respectively. I got a second Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of California, Irvine. Jer and I currently live in Seattle, where I am a certified genetic counselor in a high-risk maternal-fetal medicine clinic. We are now in the fourth year of our match with our Little Brother, Toby, through the Big Brothers Program of King County, and we both enjoy playing in a small dixieland band. Stacey Marshall January 24, 2008 Currently living in Tampa, Florida. She works at the University of South Florida as the Director of their Employee Assistance Program. She is married, with two children, Jackson and Samantha. She visits her father, Larry Marshall, at least twice a year for Mizzou football and basketball games and to remember what fall and winter really feel like. Michele
