Hi all you fellow Kewps! I hadn't updated this in a while, so I thought I would. I'm still in education, although my primary emphasis is no longer band directing. I am Dean of Academic Affairs at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, CA. My area of supervision is the Mathematical Sciences and Life and Physical Sciences areas, as Deans do not regularly have teaching as part of their duties in California Community Colleges. For those of you interested, we have a viticulture and enology program with some excellent wines (many are 90+ point wines) so go buy some and have them shipped to your house! Next fall, I am going to be teaching outside of my regular course of duties. . . and you guessed it, Concert Band and Jazz Band. I'm hoping the Jazz Band will be ongoing as the regular Concert Band director should be back in the Spring. I also direct a men's Barbershop Chorus called the Central Coast Chordsmen. We have members ranging in age from 21 to 100. A few years ago (2018), I earned my Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Education from Boston University. So, I'm a doctor but don't ask me for medical advice. It only took me forever to complete, but I got it done while working full time as a Dean in the Bay Area, teaching online for my previous college, directing two community choruses, and singing in a third. Whew! I hope everyone is doing well!

Luci Antimi January 13, 2003

After high school I spent 4 years at Mizzou and with a degree in Recreation I was off to the navy base in Key West, FL where I met my husband, Dan Godwin.  We were married 13 years when he died in Aug. 2000.  I have 3 beautiful children to show for our marriage, Samantha is 13, John 11, and Jessica 7.  After Dan got out of the navy we moved around a lot, KY, FL, AL, and even spent a couple of years back in MO.  I currently work as a medical transcriptionist out of my home in Pensacola, FL so that I can put my kids first in my life. I remarried in Sept 2002 to Scott Faucher, who is in the Navy and retiring this summer.  We are expecting a baby boy in May, so I probably won't be at the reunion this year. Would love to hear from my old Kewpie buddies!
Scott Ballard May 8, 2007

I have been active duty Marine Corps ever since graduating from MU in 1987 and although I'm still on active (now as a Lieutenant Colonel) I maintain my primary residence in NE Georgia. I've spent four years in eastern North Carolina in addition to five years in Philadephia, five years in northern Virginia (Pentagon/Quantico) and most recently four years in New Orleans. In June of 2007 I assume command of the Reserve Support Unit aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC.

Following multiple Iraq tours and Hurricane Katrina we relocated to Gainesville, GA (which is located about 75 miles NE of Atlanta) which will support my retirement from active duty the spring of 2009. Following my retirement, I'll take the position of managing partner for a chain of full service car wash-oil change stores in/about Gainesville (Hall county), GA which we own with some very good friends.

Matt Bartle May 29, 2002
I graduated from Mizzou in 1987 and then Northwestern Law School in 1990.  After clerking for a federal judge in the Fifth Circuit, I went to work for Bryan Cave LLP in Kansas City.

In 1998, I joined Berkowitz Feldmiller, where I am a partner. In 1998, I was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives.  I married Annette, from Lexington, Kentucky, in 1989.  We live in Lee's Summit with our two kids Mack and Betsy.

I spend my time enjoying my family, teaching Sunday School, engaging in politics, practicing law and running half and full marathons to fight the encroachment of old age.

Robert Bias March 3, 2002
After graduation I entered the military serving two years. I came back to Columbia and worked with my Dad for a few years in his lawn service business. In 1988 I married Sheila Whitehead from Hallsville. I went to work for the Dept. of Corrections for almost six years. I am now employed at Columbia Regional Airport as a Safety Officer (Fire/Cop) been here for two and a half years. I have two sons Nathan 13 and Blane 8. Am living in Hallsville.
Mary Beth Boggs July 10, 2003

Since graduating from MU, I've moved around a lot.  Being a Kewpie is a foreign concept to others.  I will always be proud though.  After college, I moved to Brevard Co, FL and taught elementary school. I married Michael Young.  We moved to Columbia, SC; Winston-Salem, NC; and Tampa, FL.  Realizing that teaching is not my gift, I have worked in several administrative positions.  We moved to Springfield, Oregon to run Camp Christian, a summer camp and year-round retreat center.  I also work full-time for Levi Strauss.  Our daughter Sydney was born in 4/92.  I also have 2 grown stepchildren.  My parents just moved back to Missouri after being in NY & FL for 18 years.  Hopefully, I will be able to visit Missouri more than just every 10 years for reunions.

Tami Burkett March 7, 2002
In 1987 I married Joey Lahman and we had a son together, Joseph in 1989.  We divorced in 1990, and I finished my degree in Education.  I married my husband, Clint, of almost 11 years in 1991 and began teaching 6th grade in Hallsville.  We have three children together: Jordan, Trent and Caty.  This year (2002) our baby will be in kindergarten.  I have taken some time off work since the children were born, but plan to return next year.  In 1999 I helped form the Kawasaki Disease Foundation in honor of my son, Trent who had the disease twice as a toddler.  It is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children in the U.S.  Our mission is to raise money for research (to find out the cause), raise awareness about the symptoms (it is often misdiagnosed), and provide support to families.  I am in charge of the program for families and I get requests from parents all over the world who are trying to cope with KD.  Last December I visited Japan on behalf of the foun! dation and met Dr. Kawasaki who first diagnosed the disease in 1968.  Between caring for my four children, subbing at their school, helping with the foundation, and running my own part time business (Creative Memories) I stay fairly busy!
Bill Chally March 24, 2003

After graduating from Hickman I spent 1 year at the University of Iowa majoring in Social Life (partied too much, studied too little) I returned to Columbia and obtained my BS in Business Administration with an Emphasis in CIS and an Empasis in Accounting.  I then ran the computer lab at Columbia College, then went on to run computer labs at Lincoln University in Jefferson City.  After that I had a brief job with DataStorm in Columbia, then went on to a job with InfoLAN in Kansas City that did not really work out.  I then went to work in Dallas Texas where I still live.  I am now an Assistant Vice President and MIS Director for Security Bank, NA.  I really love my job and love where I live.  I do miss old friends, but, try to keep in touch with as many as possible.  I get back to Columbia at least twice a year to visit.

Lorri Clark December 20, 2001
Greetings classmates,
Following high school, I went to Mizzou (started in Engineering) and graduated with a BS in Housing Design (Dec. 1987).  Quickly got a job in the St. Louis area and have worked a variety of Design jobs since.  I've been with Kennedy Associates since July 1995.  In June of 1993 I met Rob Murray at work and we married September 9, 1995 in Columbia.  We are happily enjoying life, and welcome the possibility of children (I know - we're nuts).  I had fun at the 10 year reunion and look forward to our upcoming 20th.  Call/e-mail to reconnec.
Tracy Cook July 10, 2003

Who knew I would be this close to HHS now 20 years later?  I am serving as senior pastor of First Assembly of God, across the street from Hickman's east hall.  This is the church I attended while growing up.  I graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo., in 1987 with a B.A. degree in Bible.  I am currently in a master's program through the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.  I spent 11 years as a youth pastor: 4 years in New Castle, Indiana, and 7 years in Kansas City, Mo.  For 4 years prior to coming back to First Assembly, I served as Associate Pastor at Christian Chapel on South Providence Rd. here in Columbia.  My wife, Joy, and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary, and we have two daughters, ages 8 and 6.  We're blessed!  My best wishes to all of my former classmates!
Sally Cornelison May 2, 2002

After graduating from Hickman, I went on for a degree in art history and archaeology at MU, which was followed by a Master's degree in the same discipline from Syracuse University in 1993.  From 1989 to 1998 I lived in Florence, Italy, teaching for the Syracuse study abroad program. I completed a Ph.D. in Italian Renaissance art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art, London University in 1998.  Since that time, I have been back in the States, teaching first in Savannah, GA and presently at Virginia Tech. In August 2002 I will begin a new position as Assistant Professor of Italian Renaissance Art at the University of Kansas.

Susan Crane May 1, 2002

Hello everyone!  Boy it has been a long time since we grad. in 1983. Since then I have been to college for 3 years.  Have been a school bus driver and many more different jobs.  In Jan. of 1989 I married the love of my life, Timothy Wade Robinson who is from GA.  Tim is an over the road truck driver and I get to go with him at times so I don't work at this time, but I do own a business (Dove's Place) which is part time.  Dove's Place is a catalog sales type business. Tim and I are based out of my parents home here in Columbia, MO so I keep busy here helping my parents.  My mom is disabled now and my father is retired.  So they keep me pretty busy.  Tim and I have 3 four legged children, Simba, Sassy, and Bandit, our very funny and pretty cats.  I was a lost soul for our Ten year anv. so I look forward to our 20 year reunion.  I look forward in seeing old and new friends there.
Debby Crull May 27, 2003

My husband, J. Paul and I were married in 1983.  We attended Mizzou together until I graduated in 1987 and began teaching second grade at Fairview Elementary.  We had our son, Ryan, in 1990, and I stayed home with him while  J. Paul worked at Boone Hospital Center and continued to attend Mizzou.  He graduated with a B.S. and then a Master's in Health Services Management in 1992, and we moved to Kansas City.  We have moved several times since then, and I taught preschool in Columbia and Independence, MO and was a Parent Educator with the Parents as Teachers program in Blue Springs, MO.  We had our son, Andrew Brennen, in 1993 and our daughter, Rose in 1998.  I am currently homeschooling Ryan(7th grade)and Andrew(3rd grade), and Rose will be attending Kindergarten in the Fall.  J. Paul and I volunteer at church in the AWANA youth program.  I also enjoy teaching Bible School and J. Paul helps teach the older teens Sunday School class.  I love gardening, spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks, and traveling.  We just returned from a family trip to Hawaii. I am looking forward to attending the reunion and seeing everyone again.

Lori Dawson January 15, 2003
After High school, I attended Central Missouri State University.  October of 1984 my daughter Le'Sheala was born.  I then went to work for Toastmasters in Columbia.  In 1988 my son was born, I continued to live in Columbia, and then decided in August of 1989 that I wanted to move from my small home town to San Diego California, so I moved and I have lived here since.  I work in the Hospitality Field working for The Manchester Grand Hyatt.  I have worked there for the last ten years.  My daughter is now a Freshman in college, and my son is a Freshman in Highschool, both play Basketball for their schools.  I just re-enrolled back into College, so I'm really excited to finally finish my degree soon.  I come back to Columbia almost every summer with my kids to visit my family, I still keep in touch with my close friends from Hickman, so we have a Reunion almost every summer.  I can't wait to see everyone this year!
Jay Downing June 24, 2002

Hello everyone. After graduating I spent a few years working, then in 1986, I married Natalie Taylor(class of 85). I spent many years playing in bands. I never did reach the all out rock star status I always dreamed of, but I got to travel and record an album as well as some T.V. exposure. I eventually opened a recording studio in Columbia and gave music lessons on the side. In January of 1998 I went to work for MBS, where I still work as a shelving supervisor. I closed the recording studio in time, and my wife and I bought a small "hobby farm" outside of Millersburg. I would welcome any e-mails from classmates who would be interested in chatting.
Corina Dunbar May 2, 2002

I got married to a very special man on April 20, 2002 and am moving to Kansas as soon as I sell a mobile home here in Harrisburg, MO.  I have 5 wonderful children...4 boys and a girl.  I have taken college classes and am now a Special Education teacher for k-6.  I have taught in Fulton, MO and also have a degree in sign language.  My husband is a rancher of a family owned ranch and owner of a few oil wells in Kansas. We have cattle and horses.  I will begin teaching in Kansas the next school year and also working on the ranch.  I hunt and fish and enjoy the wildlife.
Eric Ellingson May 8, 2003

The last twenty years have been, well, out of the ordinary. After graduating High School I went on to college at CMSU. Four years later, I graduated with a degree in Public Relations/Business Administration, then got a job at Shelter Insurance as an Underwriter. In 1989 I married Cindy Smith's college roommate, which is so wrong on so many levels we simply don't have the time to detail it here. She was thin, blonde, and her Father owned a Liquor Store, so I thought it was perfect when she asked me to marry her. Three years later, we divorced. (no kids...she had a job offer in New York and that town is too big for me) I slogged away at the job I hated until, at age 29, it hit me with sinus clearing clarity. Sell the house, the '62 Corvette and everything else, buy Rental Property with the proceeds and retire. With the money from the rentals every month, I wouldn't have to work. I thought I had it clocked, so I took off to see America. The downside is everyone else in the world had a "job-type job" so there was nobody to hang out with. ("No, Ellingson, you Jackass, I can't go to the beach for a month, I have to work.") So I got bored after a couple of years, sold the Motor Home and moved back to Columbia. (my travels did provide the groundwork for a book I have been working on entitled "The Looters Guide To American Cities") I bought a house in Rothwell Heights not far from the boyhood home of Bob Kernel. I also took a job at MidwayUSA, where I still work. I have been in charge of Receiving, Dealer Sales, Training and now the Call Center. (they measured me for a broom this morning, I don't know what that means) After years in the shady world of Insurance, it was time to get an honest job in the Gun Industry.  I am still into cars, and worse, motorcycles, a hobby I picked up in College. About a year and a half ago I built a house in the woods about 20 miles out of town, much to the relief of the Rothwell Heights Neighborhood Association. (Because nothing says "There goes the neighborhood" like a guy pulling up on a '68 Triumph Chopper and pulling the "For Sale" sign out of the yard) I am still single, a three year relationship having just imploded. (kinda stings when a girl in college accuses me of having maturity issues...I mean, I have worked up the responsibility level of owning a live houseplant.) So the short version of my update? Spent the last twenty years channeling the Spirit of Dean Martin, with no end in sight. And frankly, I am looking forward to the next twenty!
Christine Flanagan March 10, 2003

After graduation I went to MU and earned a degree in Finance in 1986. I married Jerry Heath (class of '74)in 1985.  We have 4 kids ages 8-16, two boys and two girls.  After college, I worked for the Univ Hospital and Clinics until we moved to Atlanta in 1990.  I spent the next five years as a finance analyst/manager for a large HMO.  We moved to St Louis in 1995 and I retired to stay at home with the kids.  Last year my youngest started 1st grade and I got my real estate license.  I really love it.  It gives me the flexibility to work and still do all the things I want with my family.  This mostly involves driving them to baseball, swimming, scouting, etc. Recently, my husband joined me and now we are working as a team.  Check out our website HeathTeam.com.
I'm looking forward to seeing many of my old friends at the reunion in August.

I attended MU where I met my wife Dana and recevied a degree in Chemistry.  After we married in 1988, we spent a year working in London, then returned to MU.  I received a Masters in Education in '92.  I worked for MU in various computer-related jobs until 1997, then went to work for my father.  While working here, I pursued a degree in engineering which I received in December, 2001.  Dana and I have three children (Thom born in 1992, Adele 1997, and Veronica, 1999) and are happily settled in Columbia.

Hello there all. Since my high school days as "Scrawny Ronny" (I wish I still was) driving around in my 1949 Chevrolet, I attended UMC, was a member of a fraternity (Lambda Chi Alpha), and got my degree in Housing and Interior Design.  I went to Kansas State University to start a degree in Architecture after that, but after the first year was burned out on school (six years was too much for me) and came back to Columbia to work.  I started hanging out with a good friend that fall and 2 years later we were married (Deborah Van den Berghe, Rock Bridge '85).
I worked for various companies in Columbia in the Design, Construction, and Sales area, but changed professions in 2000, and went to work for Stephens College as a Development Officer (Fund Raising).  I now work for The Salvation Army as a Planned Giving Officer (leave us in your will......) and am responsible for fund raising for Central and Northern Missouri.
Deborah and I have a wonderful son Matthew Robert who is "not three, three-and-a-half", born on the day the Pope visited St. Louis, Jan 27, 1999.
I have been a volunteer and Board Member for Daniel Boone Little League for over 15 years and active in other community and University of Missouri volunteer leadership positions.  I would love to hear from anyone out there...... later  rg

After working at the University Hospital in Human Resources for 7/12 years, I moved to Lee's Summit, MO so my husband could fulfill his midlife crisis and go back to school (he is an electric engineer) and so that my youngest could attend a satellite school for St. Joseph's Institute for the Deaf in Overland Park, KS.  I am a parent advocate for giving deaf children the gift of speech.  I currently work for the Lee's Summit School District as a Guidance Secretary/Registrar at one of the Middle Schools (whew 7th and 8th graders are a challenge).  I have 4 wonderful children who are actively involved in school activities (keeps us old Kewpies young, right?).  We go to many high school football games and marching band activities!  We visit Columbia often, as all my family is still there.  Go Tigers!!!!  Would love to hear from any of you.

I graduated from Baylor University in Waco,Texas in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising/Marketing. I started in the retail industry at the Galleria in Dallas, but after 5 years of 5 job changes, I ended up as a computer-software representative. At Mindshare Associates I repped several companies ranging from IBM and Microsoft to little Silicon Valley start-ups, and have lived in St.Louis, San Francisco, and Dallas. In 1997 I met my current husband Mike Meyer (no jokes about his name...)on a blind date, we married within the year, and now have 2 boys; Garrett 3years, Brady 16months.  Mike is a pilot for Delta, and we live in Grapevine Texas, a small town right outside the Dallas/FtWorth airport. I stay home and take care of the munchkins.
We are active in our church, and love to travel.  I look forward to seeing you all next summer, I still can't believe it has been 20 years....

Shortly after graduation I joined the United States Navy until 1987.  Afterward I returned to Columbia where I attended and worked at Columbia College majoring in History and Political Science.  I then enrolled in a Master's degree program in History at Lincoln University, which I completed in 1995.  Since then I have worked at Moberly Area Community College.  For four years I taught History and Political Science and then I accepted the administrative position of Director of Academic Services for the college and am now starting my fourth year in that position.

Not much has changed since the 20 year reunion, except I've gotten older!  Age hasn't really bothered me up until now.  My kids avoid me when they are with their friends.  I suppose it is a teen thing, but I certainly wasn't ready for it to happen.  I try to remember what it was like at that age! David and I stay busy with work and finding fun things to do as a couple.  We'll celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary the weekend of the class reunion.   I am still with Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., a heavy construction company in Columbia, MO.    David has owned and operated Pioneer Audio Visual for the past fifteen plus years.    As a family, we are involved in CYFL and Viking football, hunting, fishing, camping and hiking.
I have enjoyed getting together monthly with the "committee" to plan our 25th.  I'm pleased to see it is a casual event!  I  hope that all of you will come and enjoy yourselves for a night or two.   We would welcome any help you're willing to give and certainly any contact information your have for our classmates.
Looking forward to hearing how you are doing..............

I attended Mizzou, and graduated in 1988 with degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering.  While I was in college, I worked at Boone Hospital Center and UMC Hospital and Clinics, eventually focusing primarily on software development.  When I graduated I took a job at the Naval Warfare Assessment Center in Corona, California.  I worked on a variety of engineering and software development projects, did a lot of traveling, attended graduate school at the University of Southern California, and eventually moved into a leadership position.  In 1991, I graduated with a Masters degree in Systems Management from USC.  Around 1996, I started a small software consulting business with an old friend, Kenny Shern.  One of our best clients was K&N Engineering, a manufacturer of performance air filters for cars, trucks, and motorcycles.  In 2000, after several years of consulting for a variety of clients, I accepted a position with K&N as Director of Information Technology.  It is an awesome job and a great company.  I met my wife Kristen in 1989, and we have been happily married since 1991.  We live in Riverside, CA, and have 3 boys and a girl, ages 10, 8, 5, and 2.  I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, as well as camping, boating, hiking, golf, swimming, biking, skiing, and kart racing.  We travel often in our motorhome, and have been through 21 states and 15,000 miles over the past 3 years.  Our favorite destinations are Lake Havasu, AZ, and Yosemite National Park.

Being an allergist in Austin Texas keeps me busy!  There's almost always something in the air that affects people.  I'm not married and have no kids and I get to travel lots for work, although unfortunately, I haven't been back to Columbia since I moved to Texas from Kansas City in 1996.  I also got a dog about 7 months ago (see picture) who keeps me busy, at least it forces me to exercise some!  I hope to make the next reunion in 2003!
Matt Martz - July 31, 2002

After high school, I attended Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma.  I completed a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 1988 and a Master's in 1990. Currently I am working on my dissertation at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
I taught in Oklahoma and Columbia until going into Educational Administration in 1997.  I currently serve as the principal of Skaith Accelerated Elementary in St. Joseph, Missouri. I joined the Army National Guard in 1989 and continue to serve in the 135th Field Artillery in Sedalia, MO.
I married Elizabeth Hall in 1988.  We have two children, Emily, nine, and Dora, three.  Between their activities and our involvement in church and civic organizations, we keep plenty busy. My wife and I are trying to start a 4-H club this fall.
I would enjoy hearing from you.  I hope to see you at the reunion in 2003!
Steve Midgley June 13, 2003

After graduating from HHS, I attended UMC and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Psychology.  My first job out of school was a Collection Supervisor for a medical office of Radiologists and Aneshesiologists. I wanted something more in my field, so I switched jobs to manage an office of Psychiatrists and Psychologists.  I moved to St. Louis in 1995 and am currently living in St. Charles with my husband Shawn, our one year old baby girl Reagan, two Shih Tzu's- Koko and Kappi and a cat named Ashes.  I also have two step sons, Jordan - 11 and Austin - 6.  I have worked at the Edward Jones home office in the Retirement Plan Marketing department for 5 years and am a licensed stock broker.  We love travelling and spending time with old friends.  My favorite memories of high school are cheering at football and basketball games, the talent show, and our senior spring break trip to Ft. Lauderdale with Robin Wright, Rae Lee and Dawn Knudson.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Hello classmates, I will make this short and still try to get most of the details.  I joined the US Navy after high school and during that time I married and eventually had two children.  Richard is now 16 and Megan is now 13.  Currently I'm on my second and last marriage and my children still live with us. After the military I became a law enforcement officer with the Fulton Police Department where I worked until November of 2001.  I still reserve in Fulton but I'm leaving the full time police work to the young guys and gals.  Lately I have been having a blast working with other classmates in getting ready for our twenty year reunion!  I look forward to seeing all of my classmates in 2003 and in the mean time I would love to receive e-mail from any of you that will take the time to write.

How wonderful to find this web site!  Hello to all.  I can't believe it's been 20 years.  After graduating from Hickman, I received my undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Relgion from Harvard/Radcliffe in 1987, and my Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School in 1991.  After serving as a hospital chaplain in Philadelphia and doing a little more school at the Lutheran Seminary there, I moved to Rochester, NY for my internship in 1994, and then served as the Coordinator of the Faith in Action volunteer program at the Visiting Nurse Service there. In the summer of 1997 I was called as Associate Pastor of Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Jamaica (Queens), NYC.  I was ordained to the ministry on August 31, 1997, and have served at Our Saviour since that time.  I live in northern Queens with my three cats, and I continue to enjoy choral music as an avocation.  I welcome contact from Hickman friends!

After graduating from the University of Missouri, I accepted a position with American Airlines as a flight attendant.  I've lived in a lot of different cities over the years....but my roots took me back to good ole Columbia.  I married 5 years ago (Bryan Link-a jaybird) and have two very active little boys.  Christopher is 3 and Landon is now 18months.  They are my hobbies.  Mostly, I stay home to loose my sanity.  Just joking--sort of.  I now fly internationally....London, Paris, Hawaii--best job in the world considering I only fly when I want.   We've been very busy with the 20th reunuion planning.  I look forward to seeing blasts from my past.

Since the 20 year reunion I have had another baby and started running marathons.  Yes, having the fourth child did make we want to run out of the house.  I could have chosen shorter races to run, but the Marathon gives me the most quiet time!  I'm still not sure if I will be at the reunion I have Multiple activities vying for my time that weekend.  I will be Columbia that weekend so hopefully I'll drop in for a drink and some conversation.

I have 2 daughters from my first marriage, Brittney-16 and Jessica-12.  I jumped right into the travel industry ever since graduation thanks to my parents both being it for their entire lives.  I moved around quite a bit, living in Texas, California, and Kansas (Kansas City area), but came back to Columbia about 8 years ago, and got divorced.  I got remarried in August 2000 to Mark Estes of Hallsville, Mo.  He had 2 children also, Joselynn-9 and Derek 12 which we now have custody of all 4 children.  I also started, yes started college in 2000...what a year!  I am half way there, graduating with my Associate's degree in December 2002.  My major is Business Management and Marketing.  I look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion, and hope to hear from any of you before then.

Hello!  I graduated from the University of North Texas in 1987 and went to work for American Airlines in Ft. Worth, Texas soon after as a computer programmer (I just wanted to work for an airline so I could travel travel travel!!).
I hung around DFW for a few years then transferred to Tulsa, still working for AA and Sabre.  I spent most of my time off in Europe and Hawaii, using those flight benefits every chance I got!  In 1998 my future husband and I quit our jobs, sold our house and cars and moved to Munich, Germany to work for a company that provides reservation systems to European airlines.  We got married on a Greek island a few years later.  :)  We've been here 5 years now and really don't know what we'll do next.  I'm addicted to the 6 weeks of annual vacation and getting to travel like fools!
If you're ever in Munich, drop me a line!  Later!

Hello all, It has been many years and I must confess I remember many faces from the year book but was to shy to speak with most of you. I have two wonderful children that are my life and joy. And a brand new Granddaughter to love. Over the years I have done many things. I tried college for a while but decided I really didn't like it. I worked hard doing lots of different kinds of nursing but had to give it up due to a back injury. From there I learned to make jewelry and now work in a local factory making medical heaters. I continue to write despite my dyslexia and hope one day to get brave enough to send it in but so far I always chicken out at the last minute. I am currently trying to reach out to let others know about rare birth defects and how often when we are sick we are lost in the cracks and the red tape. I want to try to help people get through the hard times they may face when dealing with hospitals, insurance groups and doctors. As always through it all... I still believe in rainbows.

I suppose many high school graduates yearn to be free from their parents direct influence, while at the same time seek the comforting familiarities of their childhood.  Although I choose to stay in Columbia to attend UMC, I also sought out the new experience of a fraternity.  This character challenging environment proved to be the impetus for me seeking out the familiar fellowship like my church youth group and Younglife.  John Raines and I began to go to the campus meetings of a Christian group called Campus Crusade for Christ.

I had been raised in a home that went to church on Sunday, although I had my rebellious years in junior high -- I even helped Eric Ellingson with some of his car rebuilding.  But my yearning for the familiar and quest for excellence was still unquenched.  I realized that I had been treating church as a religion, or spiritual code.  The Bible paints a vibrant portrait of a loving Creator who offers a relationship.

Since graduating from the university I have served with Campus Crusade for Christ in many countries.  Currently we live in California where I work with a division of Campus Crusade called The JESUS Film Project.

I still swim with a Masters Swim Team.  But I fill most of my time enjoying my wonderful wife and our four daughters.

Hello Soccer Buddies and all Friends!

I'm so glad to see that Shann Sievers and Susan Scheske won't have to come to the reunion as the "Bachelor/ette" this time around.  I hear ABC wanted to do a show on you!  --  We won't be able to make it the 20th reunion, (we're going to vacation in Breckinridge, CO this summer), but God willing, we'll see you all at the 30th.  My mom says Hi to all!  --  I'm sure Matt Bartle is a wonderful Representative!  We always knew he had a lawyer's/politician's heart.  Missouri is lucky to have him.

Walt and I, like many of you, have managed to pass our genes on to another generation.  Our two girls are such joys, (especially when asleep!)

We think of you every time there is another blizzard or high humidity in Columbia.  We're here in Albuquerque, where the mountains are beautiful, the humidity is 6%, and rain is a stand-in-the-street civic event.

As for post high school info: I graduated from the Air Force Academy, went to Pilot Training, promptly tossed my cookies (there went the Astronaut dream!), and became a physicist for the Air Force for 5 1/2 years.  Then I became a Math and Science teacher -- to make new physicists, and then I became a mommy, to really make new scientists.  My children are slated to be geeks already!

I hope everyone is happy and doing something that you love. May the Lord bless you, our country, and the reunion this summer. Here's to absent friends!
